The goal of AGT License Management (Part of AGT Procurement) is to manage software deployment, decrease software spend, advise on software deployment, identify compliance risks and implement necessary procedures to reduce risk and to assist with software audits.

Pozíció leírása / Job description

Working in a team environment, the license manager is responsible for managing new and current licenses. The License Manager will assist in understanding and controlling software licensing entitlements and avoiding legal pitfalls related to licensing by leveraging industry best practices.


Key Focus and Objective for Role:

• On-going support of customer’s license entitlements

• Entering licenses and agreements into the entitlement database

• Performing an inventory of installed software

• Performing reconciliation analysis for different publishers

• Matching software with licenses

• Creating customized reports and comparison for cost savings and compliancy

• Creating recommendations how to license, reconcile, re-harvest licensing entitlement

• Working with software publishers and customers to retrieve the correct licenses/agreement base

• Managing software requests



Key Accountabilities:

1. Manage software usage/installations and report license position

2. Administration tasks such as tooling, reporting and Mail Box

3. Takes action to become compliant

4. Improve processes/policies/guidelines for deployment of licenses, procurement of new licenses and software changes
