School Overview: This is a small and growing British international school spread over two campuses in a purpose built, stunning campus on a golf course on the edge of Yangon. The school opened in August 2016 and offers education for students aged 3 - 14, with a new grade level being added every year. The curriculum is based on an enhanced version of the English Early Years Foundation Stage framework and National Curriculum, with suitable modifications made to take into account the diverse make-up of the school population. Myanmar studies and language are also an integral part of the curriculum, especially for local students. This school holds the highest academic standards and are affiliated to one of the oldest and best British schools groups in existence - and therefore its credibility is second to none. Facilities at this school are excellent and expectations of students and staff are high.

Location Overview: Yangon is Myanmar's largest city and its economic hub. It's a fascinating city which blends British heritage with Burmese, Chinese and Indian influences. Some of the world's most beautiful beaches are nearby and weekends can be spent exploring the likes of Mandalay. Further afield is the gateway to all that the Far East has to offer.


  • You should have a minimum of two years post qualifying teaching experience and this will, ideally include knowledge and experience of the UK curriculum.
