Description
We are currently looking to bring on an Operations Manager/ Warehouse supervisor for a 350,000 sq ft. Distribution supervisor in Nashville, AR.
This position would be responsible for approximately 1,110 employee finished goods facility.

Directs the efficient and cost-effective operation of the warehouse. Manages inbound activities related to
the receipt and storage of finished goods and raw materials. Oversees outbound activities, based on
customer orders. Responsible for parts delivery to the assembly lines to support the daily production
schedule. Responsible for budgeting, customer service, facility and equipment operation. Responsible for
administration of personnel policies and procedures, employee discipline, morale, development/training,
and performance reviews per Husqvarna policy. Provide a safe and secure environment for employees and
assets.

Responsibilities:
Coordinates inbound and outbound activities.
Organizes and assigns work to utilize available skills, knowledge and experience, labor hours,
machines, and tools in the most cost effective manner.
Develops stock location and order picking strategies to optimize workflow, space utilization,
inventory accuracy, and labor productivity.
Organize, schedule, & staff warehouse to appropriate levels.
Preventative maintenance, safety, & security procedures to safeguard employees and company
assets.
Maintain effective disaster recovery program for warehouse operations.
Responsible for inventory including receiving, shipping, accuracy, adjustments, put away,
dispensing, and storage. Ensure all material is handled within prescribed procedures and check all
materials for correct specifications.
Maintains knowledge of warehouse computer system and required data entry.
Ensure all cross-functional areas operate in a smooth and accurate fashion with the least amount of
disruptions and communicate all goals and objectives to the team leaders.
Responsible for reviewing processes and procedures on a regular basis to ensure efficiency and
effectiveness.
Coach, train, develop and hold accountable employees to achieve facility goals and objectives.
Pro-actively use Lean tools to improve operating efficiency, reduce costs, improve quality, and
safety results
Review work upon completion as well as random spot checks for adherence to guidelines and
standards and provide necessary feedback.
Maintain and enhance existing safety policies and procedures for the warehouse operations.
Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies by interacting with team members and other
departments
Maintain high level of Quality, Customer Service, and Foreign Trade Zone compliance

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Knowledge of JDE and REX
- Knowledge of AS400 business systems
- Green/Black Belt Certified

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management
or a related field from an accredited four-year college or university and/or,
5-8 years of progressive responsibility in a warehouse environment to include 3+ years of warehouse
facility management.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
High energy, self-motivated with the ability to work independently without close supervision to meet
customer demands.
Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products
Ability to travel, work overtime and off shifts as needed
Proven leadership, coaching and training skills
Ability to prioritize and establish goals to achieve department/company objectives and performance
targets
