Local business of over 40 years is expanding, and wants you to join their banking family!
We are looking for excited, energetic and competent professionals that are looking to join a company that is focused on attention to detail, growth and success. The processor is responsible for preforming duties related to in-house loans. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the loan officers, which includes assisting in the completion of loan file documentation and obtaining documentation from customers.
This position is temporary to start, with the potential of permanent employment. Please inquire for more details.

Responsibilities:
Pull credit reports on current or prospective borrowers.
Conduct account research to update customer??s complete banking relationship.
Begin loan request process; input application information into loan software system (Fiserv), generating disclosures that are applicable.
Order necessary reports including but not limited to: flood, UCC search, appraisals, title work, etc.
Collect miscellaneous loan documentation that is needed for the processing of the loan including: income verification and collateral documentation.
Communicate with the companies/attorneys, borrowers, officers, and others to ensure loan-closing procedures are met.
Prepare loan documentation for closings.
Review and prepare final loan documentation to be sent to loan department for final input to the bank??s primary IT system. This includes paying third party vendors, processing and balancing of loan tickets and checks,meeting bank and compliance policy requirements, mailing of documentation to be recorded.
Prepare and mail decline notices.
Perform official notary services as needed.
Answer telephone; respond to loan officers and customer inquiries.

Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Experience, knowledge and training in financial statement and tax return analysis typically resulting from a combination of education in accounting, financial and/or credit analysis or related areas.
Math skills; calculate interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages; balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs.
Intermediate knowledge of title policies and related loan regulations such as RESPA, HMDA and other Bank lending policies on loans to directors.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Associates Degree or 2 or more years related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Work related experience consists of a mortgage lending or processing background.
